First Time Oddity 1/2

PROLOGUE:

Isn't time a wonderful thing?

The way it creates a net of space,

A continuum, like a fourth dimension.

How it keeps you moving forward and forward 

and forward.

How it heals the heartbreaks you plan to protect.

How it protects the memories you plan so hard to escape.

This time, that time, what time,

Great time,big time, no time, 

Hard time, up time, bed time.

Time is wonderful,

Time is amazing.

Time transcends your life

into memory packets

And wittily filters them

For the non consensual crusade

That we call life.

Time is a really great concept that we, as humans have devised. It had made things so easier for us and I'm not talking about scientists with wriggly hairs explaining weird things. We, the normal humans use time everywhere. All our experiences are held together by the very concept of time. And talking about experiences, there is always a moment when something happens for the very first time and that first time, planned or not, is special because your hundredth time could exactly be like your second time but nothing matches the experiences that are associated with the first time.

Once upon a time,

There was a man and a woman.

Happily met and just married.

First time they kissed,

First time their bodies intertwined,

The heat, the sensation clinched them,

Spread right from the temple to the toes.

First time they were blessed with a blossom

Of the flowers of matrimony.

The man jumped, he picked his wife and swirled around,

Kissed the freckles of her cheeks,

The brushes of her eyelids.

The woman prepared,

For the tenderness, for the painful happiness

That was going to come around.
